Description
Registered Dietitian Farah Hillou provides a detailed presentation into the diagnosis and nutritional management of SIBO. During this course you will learn how to recognise SIBO symptoms, and identify nutritional management strategies.
By the end of the presentation you will be able to
- Compare the different diagnostic tools for SIBO
- Understand what dietary strategies and treatments may improve patients nutritional status and well-being who have SIBO
- Have a better understanding of how nutrition and lifestyle affect SIBO
A little more about Farah;
Farah Hillou is a RD with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, Canada, and the Commission of Dietetic Registration, USA. Farah has been involved in academia for the past seven years and she has also worked in corporate health and wellness, where she continues to provide nutrition consultancy to several entities including companies and media. She also serves as a member in the Nutrition Task Force, Abu Dhabi Department of Health. Farah’s strong interest in integrating genetic, environmental and lifestyle factors in addressing physiological imbalances and root causes of chronic disease has led her to seek Certification as an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Practitioner (USA).
